Teacup Mountain Wildlife and Recreation Area, formerly known as "Crowell Brine Lake area" is approximately 12,000 acres of wildlife management project lands leased by the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers to Foard and Hardeman counties jointly as Pease River Partners, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

We are working to preserve, maintain and manage the integrity of this beautiful, natural landscape and its ecosystems through, but not limited to: mitigation of wildlife resource losses; providing opportunities for non-consumptive use of all natural resources; education, information and research opportunities for the local community and region; and providing demonstrational habitat management and use to local landowners. Our dream is to return, and then preserve, the land to a pristine, species-rich condition and for you to enjoy and be enriched by it.
